公益团队自去年十一月开始帮助的两名横纹肌肉瘤儿童接连出现恶化。其中一名五岁肿瘤儿童，在接到求助信息后，日夜兼程，联合合作医院并争取到57名国际医疗医生跨越时空的义务远程会诊。
公益会大部分成员有时差障碍，也都有各忙碌的本职工作，有肿瘤专家，管理者、科研人员、传媒业者…中间包括：资料的收集、连夜病历翻译、就诊信息查询、组织捐款等等，本着初心，大家各自默默分担着，都在和孩子的生命赛跑，向同一目标努力。但时间是有力量但也最无情的，病情终究未逃过现实的走向…
常常会被问到，你们做这些事的价值是什么？也许不能逆转，但能唤起对横纹肌肉瘤儿童的重视；也许不能照顾所有，但总会有好运遇到幸运。回望自己亲身经历过的种种，历历在目。生命中，对你重视的人或事倾注了深情，但太多事情未能未人愿，唯有尽力而为，其他都交给时间！
As I laid in bed unable to fall asleep, I started to contemplate all the hardships.
Two of the young RMS patients that our organization helps have had worsened symptoms since last November. After receiving the call for help from one of them who is only five years old, we contacted all the hospitals we collaborate with and got 57 doctors for a remote consultation across time zones.
The members of our organization live in various time zones, and all have their own jobs—oncologists, managers, researchers, media workers, etc. With our goals in mind, we have been sharing all the responsibilities: collecting materials, translating medical records, looking up doctors, most recent medications and treatments, organizing fundraisers, etc. We are racing against the illnesses. Yet time is powerful and cruel. Reality takes over.
We are often asked: what is the point in all this? We might not be able to turn things around, but we could raise awareness for RMS patients; we might not be help everyone, but someone would be blessed and receive help. As I look back, all my experiences seem so vivid.Life is short. All that you dedicate may not come true. We can only do our best, and leave the rest to time and fate.
